# The Joe Rogan of the Left
## Context
This video idea was originally a commentary on one of the most useless, garbage pieces of writing that has ever disgraced the internet. It was a piece plugging Joe Rogan's podcast interview with Marc Andreesen, some executive related to Netscape way back in the day, and was essentially just a few paragraphs of entirely unsubstantiated bullshit doomerism, in combination with a ton of nauseating glazing for Joe and Marc's dumbasses.
Shortly after taking some notes on it, I came across a CNN headline that had been clipped on posted on Reddit, inquiring rhetorically if **Hasan Piker** could become the "_Joe Rogan of the Left_." After I got done vomiting and shitting myself simultaneously, I began to reflect on how truly horrible it would be to have someone who said that America deserved 9/11 as the standard bearer for the Democrat party in the online content delivery space. And thus, this video was born.
