# Log
### Tuesday, August 4 @ 14:11
Started at 585, already jumped to 598 only moments after pushing the script.
### Thursday, July 23 @ 12:46
Scott has made some changes, removing some machines, so that `Checkin Last 7 Days` now sits at 589. I'm running the script now, starting with: **541**
### Wednesday, July 22 @ 14:42
Running the script again on the `Checkin Last 7 Days` group of 604 machines. Every day that I run the script we seem to pickup additional HWID's. We're about to break 500 machines, at 497, less than a minute after the job was pushed. Let's see what happens.
#### 16:03 Running Again
Just for shit's and giggle's I've decided to run it again to see if we can get any additional machines into the list. We're up to 538 HWID's before running this last one.Kauer Banshee
### Monday, July 20 @ 14:58
Time to start re-running the script on all the machines to see how many more hashes we pick up. The script has been changed so that no duplicate `.csv`'s should appear in the network drive, allowing me to re-run it as much as I want. Also, I'm going to just run it over the entire, larger group, rather than on the 5 smaller groups, since we know the script works now and don't need to spread it out into the sub-groups.
Okay, we're up to 461 `.csv`'s now.
### **Thursday, July 16 @ 14:41**
Just ran the first push to group 1 of 116 machines. I've found there are a handful of machines that still have non-persistent connections to Altiris, so I marked those in the spreadsheet as ones we know would fail. I've now come across a new issue: **machines that are turned off.**
We don't have a way to turn them on, it seems.
I went ahead and created 5 tabs of Altiris, and scheduled the job for every group. Hopefully I can find some way to deal with the off machines over time, or something.
At 15:22 we're at **417**

This is all occurring on the new Altiris server. Not all machines have populated into it - it seems as if we're waiting for all machines to be eventually turned on, which will update the agent, pointing it at the new task server, and ultimately enroll it on `paltirisfront03.seu.stedwards.edu`.
Scott has suggested using `NuGet` as an indicator of whether the HWID script has been run already, so it is not ever on our domain machines by default. This can apparently be done via *dynamic filter* in Altiris.
584/4 = 146
- OR 585/5 = 117
So we could do 5 groups of 110-120
