# TDX CSS Re add's **What I'd add as entries**, based on what a real flex/grid layout needs: *Flexbox:* `flex`, `flex-direction`, `flex-wrap`, `flex-grow`, `flex-shrink`, `flex-basis`, `justify-content`, `align-items`, `align-content`, `align-self`, `gap`, `order` *Grid:* `grid-template-columns`, `grid-template-rows`, `grid-template-areas`, `grid-column`, `grid-row`, `grid-area`, `justify-items`, `place-items`, `place-content` > [!failure] Disallowed: > **What's still genuinely off the table regardless:** no `position` (so no sticky headers, no absolutely-positioned overlays within grid/flex children), no `transform`/`transition` (so no hover animations, no scaling), no `z-index` (no controlled stacking). You can get real flexbox/grid *layout*, but not the positioning/animation techniques that often get paired with it in modern design work.
